Your inquiry should include a brief description of your submission, but DO NOT send the full manuscript unless requested. We look favorably on work that would be of interest to a contemporary, diverse community of speakers and storytellers. We are open to a variety of genres: traditional fairy tales, narrative poetry, humorous skits, and dramatic monologues. Powerful material is welcome, but we do not publish work with excessive violence, sex, or profanity. We will not consider submissions that are demeaning to any group based on race, gender identity, sexual preference, or religion. We will only work with adult writers. Submitted work must be under 1700 words. Payment for authors is determined on a case-by-case basis and will be negotiated if your initial inquiry leads to our asking for a submission. We occasionally commission authors. Inquires are generally responded to within a month.
